Curriculum vitae
Alexander Martin Heberle was born on June 18, 1986 in Freudenstadt, Germany. After his graduation from Highschool in 2007 he studied Biology at the Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg (Germany). During his studies he mainly focused on Developmental Biology, Microbiology and Genetics. He also gained international experience by doing a six month Erasmus exchange in Gothenburg (Sweden). In 2012 Alexander Martin Heberle joined the research group of Prof. Kathrin Thedieck on Functional Proteomics of Metabolic Signaling within the Laboratory for Bioinformatics and Molecular Genetics of Prof. Ralf Baumeister for his diploma thesis. During his diploma thesis, he focused on mTOR signaling under various stressors. After obtaining his Diploma in Biology in 2014 he embraced the opportunity to again work abroad. He moved to Groningen (The Netherlands) and continued his work in the research group of Prof. Kathrin Thedieck at the University Medical Center in Groningen (UMCG).
