Wat betreft de zorg voor suïcidepogers hebben de medewerkers van de CGG-SP een adviesfunctie. Dit betekent dat hulpverleners het lokale CGG met een suïcidepreventie-werking kunnen contacteren om te overleggen en advies te vragen in verband met het inschatten van een suïciderisico en de verdere aanpak en opvolging voor pogers.
Daarnaast zijn de medewerkers van de CGG-SP ook beschikbaar voor:
• Het ondersteunen van een AZ of andere zorginstelling in de ontwikkeling van een zorgpad voor suïcidepogers of het suïcidepreventiebeleid van de instelling
• Het geven van vorming aan het ziekenhuispersoneel, artsen en andere hulpverleners over het gebruik van (K)IPEO
• Het informeren en geven van vorming aan professionelen over suïcidepreventie
• Evaluatie en –opvolgingsgesprekken

Advies Suïcidepreventie voor Huisartsen en Andere hulpverleners (ASPHA)
ASPHA wil huisartsen en andere hulpverleners uit de eerste lijn ondersteunen via telefoon en e-mail bij het begeleiden van suïcidale personen, hun omgeving en nabestaanden.
Huisartsen en andere hulpverleners die in contact komen met een suïcidale persoon kunnen er onmiddellijk met hun vragen terecht.
