Tropical Storm Adrian was upgraded to a hurricane before making landfall in El Salvador. Once moving inland the storm quickly dissipated and moved off to the northeast very quickly. The heaviest rain was confined to El Salvador and extreme southern Honduras.

Rains during the past several weeks have been good throughout Central America and the trend will continue for the coming week.

Precipitation totals for the month of May have been normal to above normal in most locations throughout the region, indicating that the Primera season is getting off to a good start.
