God of creation

God of creation, Giver of life,

be the light in our darkness; grant us peace in our strife.

Show us your mercy; give us new birth,

you have made us your children to bear fruit on the earth.

Ky-ri-e-e-le-i-son

Lord, our redeemer, Healer of souls,

be the hope that restores us; with your touch make us whole.

Here we partake in your feast of love;

give us strength on our journey with your body and blood Chri-ste e-le-i-son

Spirit most holy, Comforter blest,

be the fire that consumes us and our hearts’ welcome guest.

Form us, renew us, call us by name.

Raise us up from the ashes and create us again

Lord Jesus Christ, pour out your compassion; Grant your people pardon Ky-ri-e-e-le-i-son

Lord Jesus Christ, bring healing and wholeness; give your people comfort Chri-ste e-le-i-son

Lord Jesus Christ, the source of forgiveness, show your people mercy Ky-ri-e-e-le-i-son

Up from the ashes we now arise,

and return to our Maker who has answered our cries.

Knowing God’s mercy, we share this meal;

through the Word and the Table boundless love is revealed.
