Mis ojos siguieron el vuelo del gorrión andar entre los [ilegible], a través de aquella mañana invernal con escarcha y sin una nube. El frío atemorizaba los campos. Sólo su valentía de gorrión se atreve con el invierno. Las otras aves rehúyen los malos tratos del diciembre y el enero, emigran a los países de primavera y verano constantes. Sólo el gorrión permanece ante los duros tiempos. El gorrión y el prisionero. Cuento inconcluso. Miguel Hernández (1910-1942).
