5 Questionnaire Frederik Kalff
As I am doing a research project for the Groningen University in the Netherlands at Banco Santander in order to investigate the possibilities of implementing Private Banking into Abbey, I would like to ask you some questions concerning your work within BANIF.
For my investigation I assume BANIF as being a ‘best-in-class’ example of how Private Banking can be successful. Unfortunately the information I am seeking is quite broad, resulting in open questions that will take some time to complete (20-30 minutes). I hope you could find the time to complete the interview. I would appreciate it if you could return the questionnaire in print before the end of this week.
I ask you to think about the job (and office) you are currently working in, but also keep in mind that the Doctor Arce office is not the ‘typical’ BANIF office because of its size. With the results of this survey I will describe BANIF and the way it conducts its business. If you want to remain anonymous, that will not be a problem, as long as you could name your function within BANIF. Answers of the questionnaire can be printed and put in the box in the hall on the third floor. The results will be handled confidentially. If any questions need further explanation, please do not hesitate to call me (91-2701869) or send me an email. I would like to thank you in advance for your time and I am looking forward to receiving your answers.
General information:
- Name*
- Occupation - Time in BANIF Interview questions:
1. Could you shortly describe your career within BANIF until today?
2. Could you describe your current job in BANIF? (If promotions occurred since 01- 01-2006, please refer to your last job. Think of day to day work, responsibilities, to whom do you report etc).
3. Could you describe if you help other colleagues or are being helped by others during your work? If so, are there specific functions that help other functions?
4. As la oficina de Doctor Arce is not a typical BANIF office because of its size, are there things you do that a ´typical´ person in your job in another office would normally not do and the other way round?
5. What is, in your eyes, the best build-up of an average team of people? Why?
6. What is the optimal number of clients for your job? Is that dependable on the total amount of assets under management of your portfolio? If so, why? And the optimal number for a Junior, Assessor, Senior, Team leader, excluding your position?
7. Why is BANIF so successful in Spain? What are its strong points? Has it anything to do specifically with the Spanish market?
Thank you very much for your participation Frederik Kalff
