Curriculum vitae

Annemijn Maron Peters is geboren op 8 februari 1991 in Emmen. Ze ging na het behalen van haar vwo-diploma (profielen Economie en Maatschappij en Cultuur en Maatschappij) in 2009 studeren aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. In 2013 behaalde ze de bachelors Psychologie (cum laude propedeuse) en Filosofie van een bepaald wetenschapsgebied, en in 2014 de master Sociale psychologie en haar toepassingen. Na het afronden van de master werd ze aangenomen als promovenda in het SMARTER-project binnen het onderzoeksprogramma Uncertainty Reduction in Smart Energy Systems (URSES) van de Nederlandse Organisatie voor

Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek (NWO). Het SMARTER-project was een unieke samenwerking tussen psychologen aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, innovatiewetenschappers aan de Universiteit Utrecht en de netbeheerders Liander/Alliander, Stedin en Delta. In het SMARTER-project werden

simulatiemodellen ontwikkeld voor de impact van de adoptie en het gebruik van duurzame energietechnologieën op het energiesysteem. Deze modellen werden door Annemijn verrijkt met gedragswetenschappelijke kennis. Ze heeft artikelen

gepubliceerd in verschillende wetenschappelijke tijdschriften. Een hoogtepunt is een verwijzing naar een van haar publicaties in het rapport van het klimaatpanel van de VN (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) over de beperking van de

opwarming van de aarde tot 1.5 graden. Ze heeft deelgenomen aan summerschools in Dublin, Alghero en haar eigen woonplaats Groningen. Daarnaast heeft ze haar werk mogen presenteren op verschillende congressen, onder andere in Montreal, a Coruña, Insel Vilm, Utrecht en Amsterdam. Na het afronden van het SMARTER-project blijft Annemijn zich bezighouden met de sociaal-maatschappelijke kant van de

energietransitie, momenteel werkt ze als beleidsmedewerker in het energietransitie programma van de provincie Groningen.
