1. An old screening method, when applied at high-throughput scale might be time-consuming and dangerous (Chapter 2).
2. Carbohydrate oxidases can be tricky to express but highly rewarding to thinker with (Chapter 3).
3. Physical activity, a few hours after a study session, seems to be a good way to improve memory retention (Curr Biol. 2016, 26:1722-7).
4. Italians’ high garlic per capita consumption and their well-known flirting skills might be correlated (Appetite. 2016, 97:8-15).
5. The need for drinking coffee is created by drinking coffee in the first place (Sleep Med Rev. 2008, 12:153-62).
6. Success does not require only brain power, it also needs perseverance.
7. Bad events are such only in the eyes of the beholder. A wise mind turns them into allies.
