Die eerste aspek vanuit die studie wat verder nagevors kan word, is op welke wyse dekonstruksie ’n diepliggende rol vertolk by Zen-Boeddhisme. Dit spruit vanuit die observasie in hoofstuk 4 wat aandui dat Zen-Boeddhisme in sy diepste wese heelparty aspekte van dekonstruksie bevat. ’n Tweede aspek vir verdere navorsing is die onderliggende kenmerke van dekonstruksie (fragmentering, versplintering, disseminasie en diskontinuïteit) wat verder ondersoek kan word. Sekere metafore waarvan daar slegs melding gemaak is in hierdie studie, soos byvoorbeeld die labarint sonder ’n kern of middelpunt, bied ook moontlikhede vir verdere navorsing.
Wat die Christelike geloof en die verhouding daarvan met dekonstruksie betref, kan daar heel moontlik ook navorsing gedoen word na die wyse waarop dekonstruksie ’n rol speel betreffende die stryd tussen goedheid en boosheid in die Bybelse verhaal van Job. In die eerste hoofstuk van Job is daar byvoorbeeld ’n toneel in die hemel waar die teenwoordigheid van Satan duidelik aangedui word. Sy profane teenwoordigheid in ’n sakrale omgewing behels ’n komplekse relasie tussen goedheid en boosheid wat deur middel van dekonstruksie ’n alternatiewe blik na vore kan bring.
Die relasie tussen Derrida en Lacan se denke is ook ’n moontlikheid vir verdere navorsing. Hoewel hierdie twee denkers in sekere opsigte van mekaar verskil het, is dit opvallend dat daar ook heelwat ooreenkomste tussen hulle denke is. Die rol van dekonstruksie in psigo-analise is een aspek wat nagevors kan word, asook die rol van dekonstruksie in die post-Freudiaanse psigo-analise. Die relasie tussen Derrida en Ricoeur is ook van so ’n aard dat daar ’n verdere studie daarna geloods kan word, veral ten opsigte van hulle onderskeie voorkeure betreffende die fenomenologie.
