Yke Eijkemans, MSc is a lecturer and thesis supervisor at the department of Cultural Anthropology at Utrecht University and PhD-candidate at CEDLA, University of Amsterdam. Her PhD-project addresses citizenship education among school children in different socio- economic contexts in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Evie Jetten, Bsc is a Master’s student in Cultural Anthropology: Sustainable Citizenship at Utrecht University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Pedagogy and has worked with children during various internships at primary and secondary schools and in a pediatric department at a hospital.
Lieke kleinsmann, BSc is a Master’s student in Cultural Anthropology: Sustainable Citizenship at Utrecht University. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and conducted fieldwork on language and identity in education in the Caribbean.
