• constitutioneel eczeem bij:
• aanwijzingen dat allergische prikkels luchtwegklachten uitlokken
• aangetoond specifiek IgE tegen inhalatieallergenen
• goede reactie op proefbehandeling luchtwegmedicatie
• start luchtwegklachten op latere leeftijd en/of atopie bij een familielid

Wat kun je met de CAPS?
Wat kun je met de CAPS?
• Huidige NHG-standaard: “astma
waarschijnlijk bij” “kans op astma = xx%”
het beleid op aanpassen.
• CAPS in wetenschappelijk onderzoek, bijv:
– RCT
– Subgroepanalyses
• Toekomst??
– Hopelijk komt er een therapie die wel invloed op
de prognose heeft in positieve zin.
Conclusie Conclusie
• Voorafkans van onze 438 hoog-risico-kindjes:
42.7%
• CAPS is een makkelijk toepasbaar voorspellende index.
• Kansen op astma al op jonge leeftijd
specificeren naar 13% en zelfs 89%.
