2022 Election timetable In 2022, elections will be held for:

− student members of the University Council and Faculty Councils and staff delegation vacancies.

The Central Electoral Office has adopted the following timetable for the University Council elections and is adapted by the elections committee of the Faculty of Science

Announcement of the place and period for candidate nominations (no later than six weeks prior to the candidate nominations; see Election Regulations 6.1)

• Monday 17 January 2022 at the latest Via DUB and other internal channels (both by the Central Electoral Office and by local electoral committees)

Adoption of electoral registers (fifth working day in March, see Election Regulations 5.1; for inspection, see Election Regulations 5.2)

• Tuesday 1 March 2022 Date of electoral register compilation

• Monday 7 March 2022 (at the latest) Adoption of electoral registers

• Tuesday 8 March – Thursday 14 April 2022 Electoral registers are available for inspection until the end of the nomination period via

www.uu.nl/vote

Place and period of nomination for candidate nominations for the University Council elections

• Tuesday 8 March – Thursday 14 April 2022 Submission of lists of candidates for the Faculty Council

Repair period (ends three working days after notification of default; see Election Regulations 8.1 and 8.2)

• Tuesday 19 April 2022 Submitters will be informed of any defaults

• Tuesday 19 – Thursday 21 April 2022 Opportunity to repair any defaults

Adoption of lists of candidates (see Election Regulations 8.3)

• Monday 25 April 2022 Adoption of University Council Candidates (in public session) If there are more candidates than seats, a vote will be called.

• Monday 16th – Wednesday May 18th 2022 Vote

• Thursday May 19th 2022 Preparatory meeting

in connection with determining the number of valid votes cast for the Faculty Council

• Friday May 20th 2022 at 12:45 Public meeting to adopt election results for the Faculty Council
