Curriculum Vitae

Gerhard van der Schyff (born on 21 October 1977 in Krugersdorp, Republic of South Arica) was awarded a B.A. (1999), LL.B. (2001), LL.M. (2002) by the Rand Afrikaans University (University of Johannesburg since 2005) and a Ph.D. by Antwerp University (2005). He lectures constitutional and administrative law at Tilburg University where he carried out a VENI research project funded by the Netherlands Scientific Research Organisation. This study forms part of the project.

Gerhard van der Schyff (geboren op 21 oktober 1977 te Krugersdorp, Republiek van Zuid-Afrika) behaalde de diploma’s B.A. (1999), LL.B. (2001), LL.M. (2002) aan de Rand Afrikaanse Universiteit (sinds 2005 Universiteit van Johannesburg) en Ph.D.

aan de Universiteit Antwerpen (2005). Hij is thans als universitair docent staats- en bestuursrecht werkzaam aan de Universiteit van Tilburg en verrichte onderzoek in het kader van een NWO VENI project over rechterlijke toetsing waar deze studie een onderdeel van uitmaakt.
