Operationeel: nieuwbouw
Het Erasmus MC realiseert de komende tien jaar op de huidige locatie in Rotterdam haar nieuwbouw. Aan de uitvoering van dergelijke omvangrijke bouwprojecten kleven specifieke risico’s, die verband houden met de tijdshorizon, alsook met juridische, organisatorische en financiële factoren. Enkele van deze factoren zijn:
•
vertragingen van diverse oorzaken die inherent lijken te zijn aan de uitvoering van grote bouwprojecten met diverse oorzaken;•
onzekerheden omtrent prijs/kostenontwikkeling van bouwen, gegeven een weinig flexibel bouwbudget;•
wijzigende wet- en regelgeving onder meer inzake kapitaallasten.Een adequate beheersing van de nieuwbouwkosten en doorlooptijd van het bouwtraject is noodzakelijk. De directie Huisvesting heeft in 2005 en 2006 een risicoanalyse uitgevoerd en herhaalt deze jaarlijks om de veranderende
omstandigheden
te
monitoren en bijsturing te waarborgen. Deze risicoanalyse en de consequenties zijn besproken met de Raad van Toezicht.(Erasmus MC)

“In 2005 is een begin gemaakt met het op systematische wijze in kaart brengen van bedrijfsmatige en overige risico’s. Dit is bedoeld om risico’s in de meest brede zin vooraf te onderkennen en daar waar nodig op voorhand maatregelen te kunnen treffen. Net als vele collegaziekenhuisorganisaties wordt het OLVG in toenemende mate met
financieringsrisico’s geconfronteerd. De verwachting is dat deze risico’s de komende jaren blijven toenemen; daarom zal een sluitend risicobeheersings- en controlesysteem worden ontwikkeld”.
