EVALUATION: SURVEY AND INTERVIEWS
Workload & Benefit
§ scales for large events with many students as it was the case with our courses of 90 and 65 students.
§ for the Junior Coaches, the effort was very high. But the learning curve was also steep.
Learning success of students and Junior Coaches
§ learning from challenges with social background.
§ students appreciated the possibility to ask Junior Coaches "trivial questions".
§ 49 out of 55 students recommend keeping the concept of defining a large project for the whole semester for a team of students to work on it.
Deepening knowledge & more insight for Junior Coaches:
§ Junior Coaches could improve their argumentation skills.
§ The junior coaches stated that they had acquired a much deeper understanding of design thinking through working with the students.
Satisfaction of students and Junior Coaches:
§ Junior Coaches who decided to participate in the program were very engaged and motivated and chose a lot of extra coachings.
§ because of the high workload, 2 tutors of the second case study decided against participating in the train- the-trainer training program.
