Location Benefits: Located within the Argonne National Laboratory campus, 5 minutes by van to any part of the campus. A short (see picture)walk to the APS (Advanced Photon Source) and the APS Conference Center.
Accommodations: 157 guest rooms, including two 2 bedroom premiere suites with parlors and eleven 4 bedroom suites with parlors. All suites have kitchenettes.Floor plans and additional information.
Room Rates: Rates as low as $65/night. Long term rates are available contact the sales department for information.
Restaurants/Lounges: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served in our restaurant. The dinner and luncheon menus will be changed and posted to the web daily. Today's luncheon menu can be seen here. Tonight's dinner menu can be seen here.

The restaurant is open to Argonne employees and available for special events.
The 401 Grill (Previously know as the 5 to 9 Grill) serves a variety of sandwiches, soups, salads, and beverages. It is located on the ground level of the APS Conference Center, follow the 401 Grill signs west of the APS Auditorium. Hours are Monday through Friday 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM, Saturday and Sundays 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM. To place an order by fax please print the 401 Grill Menu and fax to 252-6331. Be sure to include your name, telephone number, date and time of order pick-up.
Services/Features: Free parking, nonsmoking rooms, facilities for persons with disabilities, sundry shop, on-site exercise facility. High-speed computer network connections in all rooms (multiple connections in suites and dormitories). Cable TV channels include APS status and Argonne seminars. Direct free telephone connections to all Argonne telephones. Guest-use laundry facilities. Multiple billing methods including direct charging to your Argonne cost code.
Directions: To reach Argonne from O'Hare Airport, drive east (toward Chicago) on Interstate 190 to the exit for Interstate 294 south (toward Indiana). Go south on Interstate 294 to the exit for Interstate 55 south (toward St. Louis). I294 is a toll road, so you will need $0.95 in change (there are two tolls at $0.40 and one at $0.15) for the automatic lanes. Alternatively, you can use the manual lanes with a human toll taker. Take I55 south to the exit for South Cass Avenue. Exit at South Cass Avenue, drive over the overpass, and you will see the sign for Argonne National Laboratory. Follow the signs and turn into the Laboratory entrance on Northgate Road. Unless you have an Argonne or APS User pass, you will need to stop at the Argonne Information Center to obtain a pass.
From Midway Airport, take Cicero Avenue north to the entrance to Interstate 55 south (toward St. Louis), which will be on your left, then proceed as described above.
The Argonne Guest House is on Outer Circle Drive near Meridian, just west of the Mobil Service Station. When you reach Argonne, request further directions from the Argonne Information Center or at the gate. There are signs indicating the route from the gate to the Guest House.
Travel to & Lodging at the APS
Entering the Argonne Site: Admission to the site is normally arranged in advance by your Argonne contact person, but can be arranged by the Guest House Staff. Be sure to indicate if your expected arrival time will coincide with the normal Argonne Information Center hours (8:30-5:00,M-F). The Guest House desk is attended 24 hours.
