Over the past few years I have thoroughly enjoyed the

investigation of the Photoactive Yellow Protein from

Halorhodospira halophila. Having shed light on important aspects

of this protein by shining light on it, raising new and interesting

questions in the process, it is with pain in my hart that I bid the

study of this protein farewell (for the time being). The time has

come to spread my wings and fly of to new adventures in science.
