EQMal:
a newEuropean
malacological
association
Members are recommended to participate in meetings of SEQS and of Unitas Malacologia. Membership is free for active contributors tothe subject.
EQMal (European Quaternary Malacologists) is an organization established in association with the Subcommission on European Quaternary Stratigraphy of INQUA (SEQS). The aim of EQMal is to stimulate exchange of knowledge on European
Quaternary malacology, including taxonomy, palaeoecology, stratigraphy,
palaeogeography,
dating,
European correlations, and so on. EQMal will consider theQuaternary in the broad sense.
The "EQMal Newsletter" is issued to further these aims. Initially, the newsletter will appear yearly and contain the membershiplist, references published during the year,
news and views of members, news on localities, and announcements of
forthcoming
meetings etc.48
