Preface

This is the fifth edition of the international VLDB workshop on Management of Uncertain Data. As in previous years, the workshop is co-located with the International Conference on Very Large Data Bases. This year the conference is held in Seattle, USA. We joined efforts with the International workshop on Ranking in Databases, which also holds its fifth edition this year and we would like to thank the DBRank organizers for their cooperation.

We would like to thank all authors who submitted to the workshop and all the reviewers, who reviewed their work. We would also like to thank CTIT for sponsoring the proceedings.
