Onderweg bloemetjes
plukkend of steentjes rapend.
Mijn beide promotores, prof. dr. M.A. de Rie en prof. dr. M.A.G.
E.M.A. Smets. John,
M.A. Grootenhuis, prof. dr. R.J. de
Haan, prof. dr. P.I. Spuls, prof. dr. L. Witkamp, prof. dr. A.W.M. Evers, prof. dr. S.G.M.A.
co-auteurs: dr. C.A.C. Prinsen, dr. R. Lindeboom, drs. S.B.W. Nijland, drs. J.A. ter
Stege, prof.dr. Ph. I. Spuls, dr. M.C.P. Hendriks en dr. M.W. Krol.
Dounya, Eveline, Inge, Iris, Jane, Justine, Kirsten, Leonie, Marc, Marij, Mathilde, Nadine,
Nienke, Patrick, Saskia, Julia, Antoinette, Marianne.
Lieve Pita, je hebt me altijd
Lieve Philip, mijn alles. Jouw “promovendusje” is nu eindelijk klaar.

curricuLum Vitae
Oda van Cranenburgh was born on September 19th, 1983 in Amsterdam (the Netherlands). After graduation at the Stedelijk Gymnasium Haarlem (2001), she obtained a Master’s degree in Psychology in two special-izations, Social Psychology and Psychonomics, at the University of Amsterdam (2007). Because of a growing interest in Medical/Health Psychology, she completed a Master in Clinical and Health Psychology at the Uni-versity of Utrecht (2009). Oda completed both practical and research internships in a multidisciplinary rehabil-itation programme for patients with chronic pain at the Department of Rehabilrehabil-itation of the Westfriesgasthuis in Hoorn. She wrote a master’s thesis at the Netherlands Institute for Health Services Research (NIVEL) about a self-management cognitive-behavioral e-intervention for Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) patients using Per-sonal Digital Assistents (PDAs). This innovative intervention inspired her to continue working with eHealth. As of 2009, Oda was employed at the National Skin Foundation (previously: Aquamarine Foundation) as a psychologist/researcher. She conducted several innovative (eHealth) projects in combination with scientific research, aiming to improve the quality of life of and the quality of care for patients with a chronic skin disease. In 2010 Oda started as a PhD student at the Department of Dermatology of the Academic Medical Center of Amsterdam, with supervision of Dept. of Dermatology and Dept. of Medical Psychology. She presented her research at various (inter)national conferences. Oda is a member of the Task Force Quality of Life of the Euro-pean Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), a board member of the Dutch Society for Psychoder-matology (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Psychodermatologie, NVPD), and a board member of the Netherlands Society for Researchers in Internet Interventions (NSRII).
