De paden zijn extra gevoelig voor onkruidgroei. Gebruik hiervoor eventueel een padenspuit.
Adaptatie en uitgeselecteerde onkruiden Er bestaat adaptatie voor de reeds lang gebruikte bodemherbiciden (Pyramin en Goltix) op dezelfde grond (met name op oude zandtuinen) en op uitgeselecteerde onkruiden, zoals melde, netelsoorten e.d. Beide middelen hebben geen werking op al aanwezige onkruiden.
