nr.001 | Q4 2020 Publication date: October 23, 2020

News

− ENW KLEIN and GROOT have undergone a few changes and will continue under the name ENW-M and ENW-XL. The current KLEIN-0 will continue in OC ENW-M under the name M-invest. In M-invest the assessment will be focused on scientific quality and scientific or societal impact and will be assessed in competition with M-1 and M-2 (former KLEIN-1 and KLEIN-2).

− The documents: Vision for Chemistry in 2040 (written by the four research community councils) and Groei binnen grenzen (Chemistry Council) have been presented to NWO.

− Registration for CHAINS 2020 is now open.

− The round table Chemistry is looking for new members. The NWO domain science round tables provide advice (both requested and unsolicited) to the NWO science domain board and represent the interests of the research community towards NWO. A full description of the tasks and way of working can be found here (in Dutch). If you are interested, please let us know by sending an email to chemistry@nwo.nl before 23 October, 2020.

− The incentive grants for women in STEM are still available.
