Short summary: The Skills of Food
Based on ethnographic case studies, the goal our collaboration is to distil significant strategies for collective food resilience that work appropriately for their cultural and social
contexts. What this means is that sustainable and healthy food solutions for the next generations are also dependent on collective behaviour and on socio-cultural dynamics such as solidarity, culturally appropriate cooking and gathering skills, faith-based prescriptions and preferences dictated by peers, status, income, distinction.
