Extension of the Roaming Regulation to Croatian mobile operators from 1 July 2013
Dear Madam/Sir,
We would like to take this opportunity to draw your attention to the forthcoming accession of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union, which is foreseen for 1July 2013.
Since the Roaming Regulation should be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States (including EEA countries), from the date of the accession of the Republic of Croatia to the EU, it will be directly applicable to Croatian mobile operators Hrvatski Telekom, Vipnet and Tele2.
Considering that the obligations deriving from the Roaming regulation are bidirectional, mutual roaming agreements of the mobile operators from the Member States and EEA countries with Croatian mobile operators Hrvatski Telekom, Vipnet and Tele2 should be changed in this respect.
In order to facilitate smooth implementation of the Roaming Regulation on Croatian mobile operators and in order to have all participants ready for the act of implementation of the Roaming Regulation on Croatian mobile operators, we are bringing this information to your attention.
