Gently walking by the side of Jesus, all through life, beside my Saviour dear.
Guided by His hand, to the promised land, where before His throne I will appear.
With the choirs of Angels I’ll be singing, Ever joyful, free from want or pain.
I will shout and rejoice, with my heart and voice,
for no earthly sorrows shall remain.
1. Bending low before the manger, for that little child within the stall.
Kneeling down in adoration,
for that great and mighty King of all.
2. I will bow in adoration.
In my place He was despiced, denied.
I will kneel before the Saviour.
On the cross, for me He bled and died.
3. Bending low here with the shepherds, for that little child here in the stall.
Kneeling down beside the wise men, for that great and mighty King of all 4. He, who conquered death and satan, He was risen, glorious from the grave.
There for I will praise Him ever, since to me eternal life He gave.
