Studies on the link between affect and physiological processes van Maria Schenk

1. Positief affect is goed voor de gezondheid

2. Het is noodzakelijk dat er een éénduidige definitie komt van allostatic load om onderzoek te kunnen vergelijken

3. Onderzoek in gezonde mensen is belangrijk om de bestaande kennis over normale fysiologie en psychologie bij te kunnen stellen en nieuwe kennis te ontwikkelen.

4. In de geneeskunde zou men ook moeten focussen op het vergroten van welzijn, in plaats van alléén het verminderen van klachten

5. De rol van cytokines in normale fysiologische processen is onderge-waardeerd
