1. De hernoeming van chondrosarcoom graad I naar atypische cartilagineuze tumor (ACT) door de WHO is gezien de klinische uitkomst gerechtvaardigd (dit proefschrift)
2. Wide resection in het kader van een intraossaal ACT in de lange pijpbeenderen, is in de afwezigheid van agressieve kenmerken obsoleet (dit proefschrift)
3. Volgens de moderne literatuur is metastasering, hooggradig worden van de tumor en overlijden als gevolg van ACT zeer zeldzaam (dit proefschrift)
4. Een follow-up periode van maximaal vijf jaar na index chirurgie voor ACT lijkt sufficiënt, waarbij periodiek onderzoek naar metastasering niet zinvol is (dit proefschrift)
5. Intralesionale behandeling van ACT geeft een uitstekende oncologische uitkomst, echter met een niet onaanzienlijke kans op complicaties (dit proefschrift)
6. Computer assisted surgery (CAS) bij intralesionale chirurgie heeft als voordeel dat peroperatieve Röntgenstraling niet nodig is, zonder dat dit een negatief effect heeft op de klinische uitkomst of operatieduur (dit proefschrift)
