For May-Jul, the forecasts call for a slightly elevated chance for above average rainfall over the western Sahel from Senegal to Burkina Faso. In contrast, there is slight increased chance for below average rainfall along the Guinea coast. There is slight increased chance for above

average rainfall over southern Chad and northern CAR. For Jun-Aug, there is a slight increased chance for above average rainfall over western Sahel and a slight increased chance for below average rainfall along the Guinea coast. A slightly increased chance for above average rainfall is expected over southern Chad and northeastern Nigeria..

For Jul-Sep, the forecasts call for a slightly elevated chance for above average rainfall along coastal Senegal, western Mali, eastern Burkina Faso, and the area encompassing northeastern Nigeria and southern Chad.

There is also a slightly increased chance for above average rainfall over eastern Uganda. For Aug-Oct, there is an increased chance for above average rainfall along coastal Senegal and over western Mali. There is also a slightly increased chance for above average rainfall over southern Chad and along portions of the border between Sudan and Ethiopia.
