Eénrichtingsverkeer
Het deel van de Vechtstraat tussen de Thomas à Kempisstraat en de
toegang naar het P-terrein achter de supermarkt wordt in de nieuwe situatie éénrichtingsverkeer voor auto’s.
Fietsers kunnen wel twee richtingen op blijven rijden.
Het deel van de Thomas à Kempisstraat dat nu al éénrichtingsverkeer is
blijft ook na de herinrichting een éénrichtingsstraat voor auto’s.
Om met de auto veilig te kunnen
inparkeren zijn de autoparkeerplekken aan één kant van de rijbaan
gesitueerd. In de Vechtstraat liggen de fietsparkeerplekken daardoor ook aan één kant.
Uitstalstrook
De winkelstraten in de 2e fase krijgen geen uitstalstrook voor de gevel, zoals de winkels in de 1e fase. De reden is dat het trottoir hier smaller is dan die van de Thomas à Kempisstraat in de 1e fase, waardoor er geen plek is.

Laad- en losvak
In de Vechtstraat komt een laad- en losvak. Onder andere de vrachtwagen van de Action kan hier staan om te
laden en lossen, maar ook andere ondernemers kunnen gebruik van maken van deze plek.
Grote vrachtwagens hoeven hierdoor niet meer op de rijbaan te staan tijdens het laden en lossen.
