Leading trends and overall judgment of the trade show
Importance of the trade show
Building exhibition InterStroyExpo for over than 20 years brings together building market and represents as effective platform for business interaction. The exhibition is considered to be the premier event of the building industry in Northwest Russia and traditionally attracts more than 15,000 professionals. One of the few truly interesting events that take place in St.-Petersburg of such scale of participation and media coverage. The fair is still a regional one though and is not at all comparable to the Mosbuild fair. There are not a lot of foreign visitors but a visit of the fair combined

with B2B’s can be a good combination. This is probably the most important building fair in the region.
However Mosbuild in Moscow should be first visited if there is a choice for the company between Moscow and St.-Petersburg. Due to the increase of the import replacement policies, a growing number of enterprises form all over Russian came to participate in the exhibition, many participants were form Moscow or other cities in Russia.
Trade show trends
The exhibition has a number of business events: seminars, presentations, round tables on topical issues of industry and innovative ways of its development, presentations of exhibitors and others events.
Despite the economic situation, still a large number of Russian companies and a certain number of foreign companies actively participated in the exhibition, particularly, German companies from Bavaria (a group stand).
The audience was lively and the exhibition was quite busy.
Several importing companies were interested in possible cooperation with respective producers from Belgium. The entire list of participants is available on the website.
