a de Tweede Wereldoorlog proberen overlevende Joden

hun geroofde eigendommen terug te krijgen. Hoewel het naoorlogse rechtsherstel in Nederland in strikt juridische zin begin jaren zestig afgesloten is, komen er eind jaren negentig alsnog openingen die leiden tot correcties en aanvullingen. In de nieuwe akkoorden is er sprake van spijtbetuigingen, restitutie en compensatie. In totaal ontvangt de Joodse gemeenschap 764 miljoen gulden van de Nederlandse regering en de financiële wereld.
