icite sample file — cz This file is public domain

Preamble

This file demonstrates how icite can be used to produce an index of passages cited in combination with BibL

A

TEX.

The relevant part of the preamble which is used here follows:

1

\usepackage[citecmd=autocite, defaultindex=none]{icite}

2

\IndexSubtypeAs{ancient}{icite-biblatex-primary}

3

\bibinput{bibsample}

4

5

\usepackage{classics}

6

\newclassic{plat}{#1|#1|#1}

7

\newclassic{arist}{#1|\textit{#1}|#1}

8

9

\usepackage[xindy]{imakeidx}

10

\makeindex[name=icite-biblatex-primary, title={Index locorum citatorum}]

11

12

\usepackage[style=oxnotes]{biblatex}

13

\addbibresource{bibsample.bib}

Remarks

(a) citecmd=autocite instructs icite to use the \autocite command to insert the citations in the body text.

(b) defaultindex=none disables indexing by default.

(c) \IndexSubtypeAs{ancient}{icite-biblatex-primary} makes an excep- tion for authors whose entrysubtype field matches the string ancient and instructs icite to have them indexed in an index named

icite-biblatex-primary.

(d) To actually produce the index, \printindex[icite-biblatex-primary]

is needed at the end of the document.
