14.

Conditions for the Cancellation

of

the ldentification Card

'The

ldentification Card may be cancelled for ¿;ne of the

''following

reasons upon the

joint

decision

of

the Ministry and the Authority;

I

)

if the Identification Ca¡d was obtained by means of fraud, false representation, or concealment of

alry--material fact; or

2) If

the holder

of

Identification Ca¡d has been convicted for crime of tenorism or smuggling of narcotics or armament;..

3)

if

the holder of Idenfihcation Card is a cirizen ol' any counlry at wa¡ with Ethiopia

or is

found willingly helping such counrtrJ;

4)

iftheholderofldentificationCard isproved to have another

interest that the person should continue to hold the Iden-tication Card.

15,

Inapplicable Laws

Any

Laws, regulations, directives, deciiions or procedural practices shall not be applicable in so far as

they are inconsistent with this P¡oclamation.

Duty to Cooperate

Any

concerned office

or

person shall extend the necessary assistance- in thd implementation

this

Proclamation,

Regulations and Directives

i)

The Council of Ministers may issue Reguations

necessary

for

the proper implemention

of this

Proclamation.

2)

The Ministry may issue Directives necessary for the proper implementioan of this Proclamation.

18,

Effective Date

This Proclamation shall come into force as of the 5'h day

of February, 2002.
