Immunomodulation by dendritic cells and regulatory T cells 1) Hoewel behandeling met diverse gemoduleerde DC tot dezelfde klinische uitkomst leidt, is het regulatie mechanisme verschillend. (dit proefschrift) 2) ‘Regulatoire’ T cellen onderdrukken niet alleen andere T cellen, maar sturen de T cellen in een gewenste richting. (dit proefschrift)
3) Antigeen-presenterende mature DC induceren een CD8+ T cel respons, echter kunnen tegelijkertijd DX5+CD4+ T cellen worden geactiveerd die de omvang van de CD8+ T cell respons belemmeren. (dit proefschrift)
