Stellingen behorende bij het proefschrift
‘Endourological stone treatment: beyond the scope of guidelines’
- Er moet een nationale registratie studie komen naar de behandeluitkomsten van endourologische steenbehandelingen. (hoofdstuk 2-3 en 9)
- De behandeluitkomsten van een nationale registratie studie kunnen als maatstaf dienen voor ziekenhuizen in Nederland. (hoofdstuk 9)
- Onderzoek naar de duurzaamheid van medische apparatuur moet gestimuleerd worden om behandelkosten naar beneden te brengen. (hoofdstuk 5)
- Voor de reiniging van de flexibele ureteroscoop moet een kritisch infectierisico in plaats van een semi-kritisch infectierisico gelden. (hoofdstuk 6)
- De aanwezigheid van micro-organismen op ureteroscopen verlangt geen aanpassing in beleid zolang er geen klinische consequenties zijn aangetoond. (hoofdstuk 6)
- Live chirurgische demonstraties moeten worden afgeschaft omdat er onzekerheid is over de veiligheid voor de patiënt. (hoofdstuk 7 en 8)
- De educatieve waarde van semi-live chirurgische demonstraties is gelijk aan die van live demonstraties. (hoofdstuk 8)
