“Home”, “Objectives”, “Consortium”, “News”, “Publications & multimedia”, and “Sharing”. A global overview of the website is given, including the main goals of the website and Symbitron logo.
The Symbitron website came online around December 1st 2013. From that moment it is continuously updated.
2. Overview Symbitron project website
The two main goals of the Symbitron project website are: (1) to present the Symbitron project to the international community and (2) to share information and documents between the project partners. To fulfil the first goal, the following pages were created: “Home”, “Objectives”, “Symbitron Consortium”, “News”, “Calendar” and “Publications & multimedia”, which will be described in more detail later in this report. To fulfil the sharing goal, a page called “Sharing” was added to the website. This page only appears when logged into the website. The username and password have been distributed to all Symbitron members, who can download the documents from the sharing page but not upload them. The website is managed by the project manager of the Symbitron project, who will keep the website up to date and will upload the relevant documents.
The design/appearance of the website is related to the Symbitron logo, which shows a man walking with an exoskeleton and the word “Symbitron”. Two fonts are used, representing the combination of a person (handwriting font) and a machine (typewriter font), which is part of the long title of the project: ‘Symbiotic man-machine interactions in wearable exoskeletons to enhance mobility for paraplegics’.
3. Home page
Via www.symbitron.eu, the home page of the Symbitron website can be reached. On this home page, the main goals of the project, all project partners and some general information are shown. Furthermore, the log-in field is presented on the home page.
information on each objective can be reached via the hyperlinks next to the different objectives. For each work package (directly related to one of the objectives), the expected outcomes and the responsible partners are given.

5. Symbitron Consortium
On this page, the different project partners, the people involved and their role in the project are presented. For each partner, a hyperlink is added, which links to more elaborate information concerning the partners and provides a link to the website of the partners.
6. News, Calendar, Publications & multimedia
On these pages any news, publications and multimedia contributions of the Symbitron project will be presented. News will be presented through (weblog) posts on this page, with a link to the post on the home page. On the Calendar, Symbitron-related events (Symbitron meetings as well as interesting conferences) will be shown and the upcoming events will also be displayed on the home page. Public videos, open access publications, etc. will be presented on the Publications & multimedia page. combination. In different folders, several Symbitron documents will be shared between the different partners. For now, the main folders are “Deliverables”, “Meetings” and “Templates”. In the deliverables folder, the definitive Symbitron deliverables will be stored. In the meetings folder, the agendas, minutes and presentation slides will be stored for each Symbitron meeting. In the templates folder, the templates for the Symbitron minutes, deliverables and presentation slides can be found together with the Symbitron logo. All partners will receive a login and can download documents. Only the administrator of the page can upload documents.
