De respondenten zijn duidelijk niet verdeeld zoals de totale Nederlandse bevolking. Voor dit onderzoek is dat geen direct probleem, maar een onderzoek waar meer lager opgeleiden, mensen van middelbare leeftijd en vrouwen aan mee doen, is zeker iets waarnaar in de toekomst gekeken kan worden. De data van dit onderzoek zou verder geanalyseerd kunnen worden op de
34 bemiddelende factoren. Hoewel er een hoge correlatie bleek te zijn, was regressie voor de factoren niet optimaal.
De vragen voor Use Behavior bevatten naast de opties die de frequentie aangaven, ook de opties ‘Nooit’ en ‘Weet ik niet / Ik beschik niet over (functie x)’. Voor de analyses werden de datapunten van deze laatste optie weggelaten. Het blijkt echter dat erg veel respondenten ‘Nooit’ hebben aangevinkt. Hoewel dit natuurlijk mogelijk is, zou het ook goed mogelijk kunnen zijn dat zij de verkeerde optie hebben aangeklikt. Het lijkt onredelijk dat mensen op hun auto bijvoorbeeld automatisch inschakelende verlichting hebben, maar dat bewust nooit gebruiken.
Bovendien is het lastig om de attitude tegenover iets te testen, wat voor veel mensen nog ver weg is. Dit onderzoek zou herhaald kunnen worden tegen de tijd dat de klant in de showroom daadwerkelijk kan kiezen tussen een autonome auto en een ‘normale’ auto. Ook zou geprobeerd kunnen worden het CTAM model te valideren en zo meerdere factoren mee te nemen; zoals veiligheid en angst voor een technologie.
