7.2 AANBEVELINGEN VOOR VERVOLGONDERZOEK
De bevindingen van dit onderzoek laten ook ruimte voor wetenschappelijk vervolgonderzoek. Daarbij valt te denken aan het volgende:
• Fenomenologisch onderzoek naar het fenomeen eyetracker screening onder oogartsen en neonatologen; dit biedt een breder perspectief op de visuele revalidatie bij prematuur geboren kinderen dan dat van ouders alleen.

• Responsieve evaluatie op de afdeling neonatologie van het Erasmus MC Sophia met als thema’s aandacht, erkenning en verwantschap waarbij perspectieven van ouders van prematuur geboren kinderen en zorgverleners rond deze thema’s in kaart worden gebracht. Vervolgens kunnen ouders en zorgverleners met elkaar in dialoog treden om te komen tot verbeteringen in de neonatale zorg voor ouders en kind.
• Denkend aan de mensen die besloten hebben om niet mee te doen aan Blik Vooruit zou het interessant zijn om fenomenologisch onderzoek te doen op de afdeling neonatologie van het Erasmus MC Sophia onder ouders en zorgverleners rond de fenomeen ruimte voor het ongewisse.
• Als laatste suggestie wordt een responsieve evaluatie voorgesteld die over een jaar de perspectieven op goede visuele revalidatie evalueert onder zorgverleners van Koninklijke Visio en ouders die betrokken waren bij de visuele revalidatie van hun prematuur geboren kinderen ten einde deze zorg te verbeteren.
