Dear Ms Speaker of the House of Representatives,

I have the pleasure to transmit the opinion on the legal protection of citizens in the Netherlands (CDL-AD(2021)031). Following an exchange of views with Ms Judith Tielen and Mr Pieter Omtzigt, Members of the House of Representatives, this Opinion was adopted by the Venice Commission at its 128th Plenary Session (Venice and online, 15-16 October 2021).

I would like to thank you for your trust in the Venice Commission. I hope that this opinion will be useful for the reforms envisaged in your country.
