Jasper Stevens was born on February 3rd, 1979 in Geldrop, The Netherlands.
After graduating from High School in 1998 at the Dr. Nassau College in Assen, he started the study Biology at the University of Groningen.
After two 6-month-internships at the depart-ment of Neuroendocrinology at the University
of Groningen and the department of Pharma- cology at Organon N.V. in Oss, he obtained his master’s degree in Biology in November 2004, with the examination components “Behavioral and Cognitive Sciences” and “M variant Science, Policy and Business”.
In 2005 he started a PhD project at Leiden University under the supervision of Prof. dr. M. Danhof and dr. E. De Lange, that resulted in this thesis.
In 2010 he started as Disease and Therapeutic Response Modeling Program Fellow at the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute in Indianapolis, IN, USA.
