Curriculum Vitae

Derbew Fikadu Berhe was born on August 20th, 1979 at Korem / Ethiopia.

He finished his secondary education at Korem compressive high school (up to grade 11) and Tikur Anbesa high school (grade 12). He did his Bachelor Degree of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) at Addis Ababa University (1999–2005). For one year he worked at Mekelle University as gradu-ate assistant II (2005/2006). He earned his MSc in Pharmacology and Toxicology (2006–2008) at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Educa-tion and Research, Mohali in India. After his Msc study, he worked at Mekelle University as a lecturer and researcher for four and half years.

In May 2014, he moved to the Netherlands /Groningen to pursue a PhD project at the Department of Clinical Pharmacology, University Medical Center Groningen. In July 2017. He finished working on his PhD project and currently working at Mekelle University as a lecturer
