The forecasts call for a slightly elevated chance for above average rainfall along the Guinea coast during Mar-May. There is a slight increased chance for below average rainfall over eastern equatorial Africa.

For the Apr-Jun season, the forecasts call for a slight increased chance for below average rainfall over portions of the equatorial eastern Africa.

The forecasts call for a slightly elevated chance for above average rainfall over portions of central Sahel during May-Jul 2013. There is an increase chance for below average rainfall along the Gulf of Guinea. Climatology is expected elsewhere.

For the Jun-Aug season, the forecasts call for a slight increased chance for above average rainfall over the Sahel and in the vicinity of the Lake Victoria. There is a slightly elevated chance for below average rainfall along the Guinea coast and over southern Ethiopia.
