V I T A E

Joep Kraeima was born in Zwolle on 14 September 1989. He finished high school in 2007 (C.S. Vincent van Gogh, Assen) and started with Technical Medicine at the University of Twente, Enschede in 2007. He graduated for his masters in Technical Medicine and his masters in Health Sciences in 2014. Hereafter he continued with his work at the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University Medical Center Groningen. He started here as a technical physician and performed research in the field of 3D virtual planning of surgery. In September 2015 the 3D Lab was founded in the UMCG, where he is a coordinator since then. In 2016 he was the first to start a fellowship for technical physicians in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. This clinical specialization programme educates a new clinical professional who is dedicated to innovate and improve the care within Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
