1 Thyroxine toediening gedurende de eerste zes levensweken aan kinderen geboren na een zwangerschapsduur van minder dan 30 weken heeft geen invloed op perifere zenuwgeleidingssnelheden, noch op de Nx piek latentietijd van somatosensibel geëvoceerde potentialen
(dit proefschrift).
2 Bij kinderen geboren na een zwangerschapsduur van minder dan 30 weken is de zenuwgeleidingssnelheid van de nervus ulnaris na twee weken lager dan men op basis van de gemeten waarde direct na de geboorte zou mogen verwachten (dit proefschrift).
3 Bij p r e m a t u u r g e b o r e n k i n d e r e n is er o n v o l d o e n d e z e k e r h e i d over d e voorspellende waarde van de corticale Nj piek latentietijd van somatosensibel geëvoceerde potentialen voor de latere ontwikkeling (dit proefschrift).
4 Schildklierziekten bij de vrouw vereisen voor, tijdens en na de zwangerschap een geïntegreerde zorg, die gericht is op de zwangere, de zwangerschap en het kind (dit proefschrift).
5 Of bij prematuur geboren kinderen het versnellen van de perifere zenuw- g e l e i d i n g s s n e l h e i d en/of h e t v e r k o r t e n van d e N p i e k l a t e n t i e t i j d van somatosensibel geëvoceerde potentialen door een interventie, zoals thyroxine toediening, uitsluitend een gunstige betekenis heeft voor de latere ontwikkeling, dient te worden bewezen (dit proefschrift).
6 Het is niet verwonderlijk, dat een neonatoloog uit alle mogelijke latenties bij somatosensibel geëvoceerde potentialen na stimulatie van de nervus medianus, voor de allereerste piek 'Nj' kiest.
7 E e n neonatale intensive care is een afdeling waar zowel de meest geavanceerde mogelijkheden tot diagnostiek en behandeling op wetenschappelijke wijze worden toegepast als ook een op het individuele kind gerichte zorg wordt nagestreefd.
8 Functie differentiatie binnen een medische staf is van cruciaal belang voor het optimaal functioneren van de afdeling als geheel en voor de optimale ontplooiing van ieder staflid afzonderlijk.
9 Voor het verrichten van promotie onderzoek is het creëren van de noodzakelijke randvoorwaarden een vereiste, vooral indien de promovendus een klinisch werkzaam specialist is.
10 Wanneer je verzameling proefschriften één meter bereikt, wordt het tijdje eigen boekje voltooid te hebben.
