Thebalanceonthecoverpicturerepresentstheweighingofthemanyconsiderations involvedinantibioticprescribingdecisionmaking.Onesideofthebalanceoutweighs the other side, indicating that considerations regarding antibiotic prescribing are not inbalance.Theanswertothequestion‘whyisthereimbalance?’canbefoundinthe conclusion of this thesis. The consequence of the imbalance is that antibiotics are becominginreachofresistantbacteria.
