Aim
The aim of this webinar is to take the first step towards a Community of Understanding (CoU) Wadden Sea Sediment Solutions for the trilateral Wadden Sea. We hope that professionals with a wide variety of background will become interested in the topics and cases, and want to join the CoU. The program of the webinar focusses on an interactive start of building this CoU with a new and recently developed overview of the trilateral Wadden Sea mud balance and some practical examples (cases) as first shared knowledge and understanding.

Prior to the webinar technicians will be available to help you – if necessary – to log in and to become familiar to some extend with more advanced facilities we will use during the webinar.
Tip: The webinar will be hosted in ZOOM, please install the latest version of the app (5.4.3).
10:00 – 12:30 Aim of the webinar, trilateral mud balance, the CoU and next steps
Starting with the initiative, followed by overarching presentations about the trilateral Wadden Sea mud balance and closing with an inventory of mutual interests in the CoU and the next steps.

* Time for everybody to have a lunch in the own environment and join the breakout activities.
Breakout rooms are available which you can enter and leave while joining your own lunch (ZOOM app version 5(.4.3 or up) needed). Students will present their actual projects, you can meet each other and exchange experiences, the preparation of EU Green Deals proposals will be presented and a summary of the near-coast examples. Or just relax with some music.

Overview case studies and factsheets and their binding (systematic) element. Focus on two cases (e.g. landfills and claypits), presentation by local professionals followed by interactive dialogue.
