*De tijdelijke kaderregeling is twee keer geamendeerd. Op 4 april 2020 (zie Mededeling EC) om meer ruimte te bieden voor onderzoek en ontwikkeling relevant voor COVID-19, en op 8 mei 2020 (zie Mededeling EC) om onder andere inzet gelden voor herkapitalisatie mogelijk te maken.
**Dit Deense voorstel was de eerste staatssteunmaatregel voorgesteld door een lidstaat in relatie tot COVID-19. Op het moment van goedkeuring was de tijdelijke maatregel van de Europese Commissie voor staatssteun nog niet van kracht.
***Hoewel het Verenigd Koninkrijk door brexit geen lidstaat van de EU meer is, is op grond van het terugtrekkingsakkoord tussen het VK en de EU tijdens de transitieperiode tot eind 2020 EU-wetgeving nog volledig van toepassing, en dient staatssteun te worden goedgekeurd door de Europese Commissie.
