ARIZA Rook- en koolmonoxidemelder – JK-512COM
A. PRODUKTOMSCHRIJVING
Dit product is een slimme rook- en koolmonoxidemelder, een zogenaamde combimelder:
• Stabiel en betrouwbaar met laag batterijverbruik en hoge gevoeligheid
• Ontworpen om de ontwikkeling van rook, brand en koolmonoxide in een ruimte vroegtijdig te signaleren
• Draagt in belangrijke mate bij aan de persoonlijke veiligheid.

C. UITERLIJK VAN HET PRODUKT
D. INSTRUCTIES
1. Start
Plaats 3 1.5V AA batterijen in de melder. Het geluid dat u nu hoort, geeft aan dat de melder bezig is op te starten. Tijdens het opstarten ziet u ‘2 minutes countdown’ op het display scherm.
2. Knop
Druk de ‘TEST’ knop in, deze bevindt zich aan de zijkant van de melder. Op het LCD scherm ziet u nu ‘CO 0ppm’ en aansluitend ‘smoke 0.00db/m’. U ziet en hoort nu het alarm afgaan.
3. Test
Druk de ‘TEST’ knop in en check de intensiteit van beide alarmsignalen. Houd dan de ‘TEST’ knop voor langere tijd ingedrukt (langer dan 10 seconden), zodat het alarm kan resetten.
4. Standby
Staat het alarm in standby stand, dan licht het groene lampje iedere 35 sec. kortstondig op.
5. Beperkte batterijcapaciteit
Zijn de batterijen bijna leeg, dan ziet u het rode lampje iedere 10 seconden oplichten. Het LCD scherm geeft ‘Lb’ aan.
6. Alarm
CO-UL2034 – Ontwikkeling van koolstofmonoxide 70 PPM: 60 tot 180 minuten
150 PPM: 10 tot 50 minuten 400 PPM: 4 tot 15 minuten 700 PPM: 2 tot 6 minuten
Het alarm zal eerst 4 x kort achter elkaar afgaan (4 x 5 sec), het rode lampje brandt en het geluidsalarm zal aanhouden. Onderneem direct actie door het apparaat dat verantwoordelijk is voor de ontwikkeling van koolmonoxide uit te schakelen, open alle ramen en deuren en neem zo snel mogelijk contact op met 112 .
Rook en brand:
Het alarm zal afgaan zodra de unit een rookontwikkeling signaleert van meer dan 0,1% db/m. Het blauwe licht zal met een hoge frequentie knipperen in combinatie met een voortdurend
geluidssignaal.
7. Alarm pauze (Hush modus)
Mocht het alarm onverhoopt afgaan terwijl van een noodsituatie geen sprake is, dan kunt u het alarm direct uitschakelen door de ´TEST´ knop in te drukken. De LED verlichting zal iedere 10 sec.
kortstondig branden om aan te geven dat het alarm is uitgeschakeld. Is het alarm stil, druk dan opnieuw op de Test knop. Het rode alarmlicht gaat nu ook uit. Na ca. 10 minuten wordt het alarm automatisch gereset, waarna het weer normaal werkt.
E. INSTALLATIE a)
1. Om maximale bescherming te kunnen garanderen, adviseren wij u in iedere verblijfsruimte, inclusief hal, kelder, zolder of auto een alarm unit te installeren. Wanneer uw woning uit meerdere verdiepingen bestaat, geldt dit uiteraard ook voor alle verdiepingen. Mocht een hal of kamer langer zijn dan 9 meter, dan adviseren wij u aan beide uiteinden van de betreffende ruimte een alarm unit te installeren.
Heeft u de beschikking over slechts 1 alarm, dan adviseren wij u deze te installeren in een gemeenschappelijke hal, waaraan alle slaapkamers grenzen. Controleert u dan vooral of het alarm ook daadwerkelijk in alle slaapkamers te horen is.
2. Koolmonoxide is lichter dan lucht en een juiste plaatsing van de alarm unit luistert dan ook nauw:
• Plaats een koolmonoxidemelder aan de wand op een hoogte van ca. 1.40 m;
• Zorg voor voldoende afstand tussen de melder en het apparaat dat de ontwikkeling van koolmonoxide mogelijk zou kunnen veroorzaken (open haard, kachel, etc.);
• Zorg ervoor dat de alarm unit zich op een afstand van minimaal 30 cm bevindt van het plafond of een hoek in de betreffende ruimte;
• Zorg voor voldoende afstand (minimaal 60 cm) van de vloer;
• Plaats de koolmonoxidemelder in slaapkamers ter hoogte van het matras;
• In de woonkamer plaatst u de koolmonoxidemelder ter hoogte van de zitting van de bank;
• Een koolmonoxidemelder moet altijd in de luchtstromen worden gemonteerd en op ten minste 30 cm van hoeken in de betreffende ruimte, dat wil zeggen tussen 0,30 - 1,0 m van de vloer.
3. Voorkom plaatsing van de koolmonoxidemelder op plaatsen, waar luchtstromen voor verstoring kunnen zorgen. Denk hierbij bijv. aan een directe luchtstroom uit ventilatieopeningen,
afzuigventilatoren, deuren, ramen, stoombronnen, oliedamp, enz.
b.) Niet geschikt voor plaatsing van de koolmonoxidemelder zijn:
1. Plaatsen waar altijd sprake is van stagnerende rook, ofwel rook die blijft hangen;
2. Plaatsen met meer dan 95% vochtigheid;
3. Plaatsen met zwaar stof, zware watermist, zware olienevel;
4. Plaatsen met een hoge windsnelheid (>5m/s).
F. INSTRUCTIES VOOR GEBRUIK
1. Plaats de batterijen in de daarvoor bestemde opening, let hierbij op de juiste positieve en negatieve kant zodat de batterijvoeding op de juiste manier tot stand komt.
2. Kies een geschikte plaats om uw ARIZA JK-512COM te installeren: het alarm wordt meestal in de betreffende ruimte in het midden van het plafond of op de muur geplaatst. Gebruik de meegeleverde schroeven om de achterplaat van de detector op het plafond te bevestigen.

H. WAARSCHUWING
1. Dit is een gecombineerde rook- en koolmonoxidemelder: deze melder kan geen brandbaar gas detecteren, zoals vloeibaar petroleumgas, aardgas, methaan, enz.
2. Gepland onderhoud: droge oppervlaktereiniging 1 x per maand
3. Gebruik geen reinigingsmiddel om het product schoon te maken, dit kan mogelijk de werking beïnvloeden
4. Gebruik geen sprays zoals luchtverfrisser, haarspray, etc. in de directe nabijheid van de melder

A. PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

D. INSTRUCTIONS
1. Start
Insert 3 1.5V AA batteries into the detector, the buzzer will make a sound to indicate that it is starting preheating. The display will show ‘2 minutes countdown’ as long as the detector is busy starting-up.
2. Button
Press the ‘TEST’ button, located on the side. The LCD display shows ‘CO 0ppm’ and then ‘smoke 0.00db/m’, the LED light will start flickering and the detector will sound a continuous alarm.
3. Peak record
Press ‘TEST’ button, check the alarm concentration, long press ‘TEST’ button for more than 10 seconds again for clean up
4. Indication light
In a normal standby situation, the green light flashes once every 35 seconds.
5. Low battery warning
When the battery capacity is low, the red light flashes once every 10 seconds and the LCD display will show ‘Lb’ .
6. Alarm CO-UL2034
70 PPM: within 60 to 180 minutes 150 PPM: within 10 to 50 minutes 400 PPM: within 4 to 15 minutes 700 PPM: within 2 to 6 minutes
The buzzer will first make a sound 4 times in a row every five seconds, the red light will flash and the buzzer alarm will continue. Please turn the valve off immediately, open the windows and door(s) and call your emergency service asap.
Smoke:
In case of a fire, the alarm will go off as soon as the unit detects a smoke concentration of over 0,1% db/m, with the blue light flashing rapidly and a continuous buzzer alarm.
7. Alarm pause (hush mode)
Silence your detector by immediately pressing the test button when a non-emergency causes nuisance alarms. The LED circle will start flashing to remind you that the detector has been silenced. The LED light flashes once every 10 seconds to indicate that the alarm has entered the silent mode. Once in silent mode, press the button, the buzzer alarm and the red light cycle will mute off. The alarm will automatically reset after 10 minutes.
E. INSTALLATION a)
1. For maximum protection we suggest an alarm be installed on each floor of a multifloor home including every bedroom, hallway, finished attic or basement or in the car. In case a hallway or room is larger than 30 feet (9.1 m) long, then please put a detector on both ends of the room.
Of you have only one alarm, then ensure tis is placed in the hallway outside of the main sleeping area or in the main bedroom. Verify the alarm can be heard in all bedrooms.
2. Since the carbon monoxide gas is lighter than air, be careful in choosing the suitable position:
• Place a CO detector on the wall at a height of approximately 1.40 meters;
• Keep some distance from the combustion device;
• Keep a distance of at least 30 cm from the ceiling or an angle;
• Keep a distance of at least 60 cm from the floor;
• In bedrooms at sleeping height;
• In living rooms at sit height on the sofa;
• A CO detector must always be mounted in the air currents and at least 30 cm from corners present in the room., which is 0.30 – 1.0 m from the floor.
3. Avoid installing the detector close to the following sources of interference: direct air flow from vents, exhaust fans, doors, windows, sources of steam, oil vapor, etc.
b.)
Places not suitable for installation
1. Places that always have stagnating smoke;
2. Places with more than 95% humidity;
3. Places with heavy dust, heavy water mist, heavy oil mist;
4. Places with high wind speed (>5m/s).
F. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Insert the battery into the battery cabinet, refer to the right positive and negative signal, keeping the battery power supply.
2. Choose a suitable place to install your ARIZA JK-512COM: the alarm is usually placed on the centre ceiling or wall of the space. Use the screws included to nail the back plate of the detector on to the ceiling.

H. NOTICE
1. This is a carbon monoxide and smoke combo detector: it cannot detect combustible gas, such as liquified petroleum gas, natural gas, methane, etc.
