1. Het vroegtijdig in kaart brengen van het functioneren in werk na kanker is van belang voor het verbeteren van dit functioneren (dit proefschrift).

2. Na de werkhervatting zijn psychosociale factoren belangrijker voor het functioneren in werk dan kankertype en kankerbehandeling (dit proefschrift).

3. Voor het meten van cognitieve symptomen in de werkcontext zijn gevalideerde vragenlijsten voor bedrijfsartsen onmisbaar (dit proefschrift).

4. Kankerpatiënten met voornamelijk mentaal belastend werk ervaren meer cognitieve problemen op het werk en verdienen daarom extra aandacht van de bedrijfsarts (dit proefschrift).

5. Het doorzettingsvermogen van kankerpatiënten wordt niet alleen gezien bij het uitvoeren van werktaken, maar ook bij het invullen van vragenlijsten (dit proefschrift).

6. Het combineren van kwantitatieve en kwalitatieve onderzoeksmethoden verrijkt het beeld van het functioneren in werk na kanker (dit proefschrift).
