Nationality certificate and certificate of registration merchant shipping
With this form you can urgently apply for a nationality certificate and/
or (provisional) certificate of registration for a seagoing vessel that is used on a commercial basis. No adjustments allowed once submitted.
This process takes 3 days.
If the owner is not registered in The Netherlands he may transfer management to a Dutch company registered in the Chamber of Commerce. This information is required in section 7 and the appendices from section 10 must be added.
When applying for a full term Certificate of Registry, a Dutch Tonnage Certificate and the correct full registration in the Land Registry is required. Incorrect or incomplete applications will not be processed.

Appendices of the owner
- Recent extract Chamber of Commerce (unless owner does not have a registered office in the Netherlands;
in that case there must be a ship manager)
- A copy of the applicable articles of association of the company and a statement from a civil-law notary that lists the names and addresses of the directors
- A copy of the act of forming a firm or a shipping company and a statement from a civil-law notary that lists the names and addresses of the partners personally liable or members of the shipping company
- A copy of the passport or a statement from a civil-law notary that lists the name, address and nationality of the owner

- A copy of the builder's certificate, the certificate of ownership or any other evidence of ownership, or evidence of transfer of ownership by particular or general title
- A copy of the certificate of a classification society regarding the engine details; it should as a minimum include the rotational speed, power and engine number
